This appliance had been condemned for obvious reasons. Whoever installed the boiler had connected the flue outlet pipe to an old twin pipe flue system using silicone. The air intake pipe was butchered and left drawing in air from the compartment. Thankfully the students of this property were ok and a new boiler was installed in the kitchen.
